The IMPJ's Riding4Reform celebrates its 10th Anniversary with a brand new face! Join both old and new friends on one of this year's new options. For the first time, R4R will not only be suitable for all types of cyclers (with a new "light" route) but also include Hiking4Reform for the non-riders, with mix-and-match possibilities.
Set for March 10-14, 2013, the three parallel tracks will start in the northern Golan Heights, and end on Mediterranean coast in Caesarea:
Five days of bike riding trails, about 50 kilometers (31 Miles) a day - for those off-road cyclers who want a challenging ride.
The tourist bike trail - five days of easy cycling of about 25 km (15.5 Miles) a day (about 4 hours riding per day). Riders in this program will enjoy tracks specially selected for their beauty, as well as get the opportunity to visit some highly recommended tourist sites along the way. The tourist trail will be an easy ride, making use of well paved roads and paths.
This year we are happy to introduce a brand new route for those who love hiking in the outdoors. This 10-15 km (6-9 Miles) per day trek along selected northern hiking trails that wind around: the Banias River, Mount Arbel, Mount Tabor and Mount Gilboa. In addition, participants will visit selected tourist sites in the area including: the Lake Hula, the Sea of Galilee, The Sachne water springs, and more.
All three tracks will have common accommodations and will attend some of the attractions and sites together. Participants can mix and match their days and tracks, giving them the possibility to vary their activities into a creative and unique experience.
This makes R4R 2013 perfect for both new and seasoned riders, their spouses, families, friends and congregants, accommodating all levels of physical ability.
Nothing will compare to this five day journey through the Upper Galilee, Sea of Galilee, Emek Harod, Beit She'an and Ramot Menashe as you walk or ride through Northern Israel while it is in bloom and at its peak. We'll ride the most beautiful tracks, walk the loveliest trails and have the chance to visit tourist sites such as Lake Hula, the Sea of Galilee, the Sachne and more.
See you there!
