About the Ride
The 2009 Golan Heights and Sights ride is a 5-day adventure that will start at the northernmost border of Israel. Throughout the ride we will explore breathtaking landscapes along the Israel-Syrian border, ascend mountains, explore the remains of Syrian fortifications from the Six-Day War, and ride along cliffs overlooking the Sea of Galilee.

The Route
Our journey will begin 2,200 meters (7,200 feet) above sea level, on Mount
Hermon - the highest mountain in Israel, in the north eastern part of the Golan Heights. We will Begin by riding south in the breathtaking scenery of the Northern Golan, passing by the Druze town of
Majdal Shams.
